Oasis Park , La Lajita
"Oasis Park" is situated in the south of Fuerteventura and offers a lot: zoo, camel safaris, a botanical garden with many tropical plants, animal shows and a great deal more.
A park visit includes three animal shows: reptiles, sea lions & parots, viweing the zoo and botanic garden. Oasis Park" in La Lajita is a diversified nature paradise of about 780.000 sqm.

On the way to the South cost of Fuerteventura there is a real oasis in the middle of burn by the sun land - zoo & botanic garden Oasis Park in the small village La Lajita.
I had never liked zoo, 'cos all my experience was based on what I had seen in Russia. But believe me that none of Russian zoos can compete with huge open-air natural zoo garden, collection of exsotic animals, plants and flowers, happy & healthy pets! It's really deserved to be visted at least once if you came to Fuerte. If you have kids, prepare to spend there all day long! :-)
Canarian food! Ah...
Spenish food is one of the most delicios in the world, but Canarian food can be place even one level higher!
Big variety of fresh cought fish, special baked in sea salt popatoes with Canarian spicy green & red souces (which we considered is made from cactus!). Great experience to tast the new cuisine.
